Apartment hunting can be both fun and challenging! Finding an apartment that’s affordable, in a good location and up to your living standards are just the first things you need to worry about when choosing the perfect apartment. Whether you’re a first-time apartment renter, or you’ve been in the game for a while, you’ll want to ask some important questions before you sign a lease and collect your keys. We’ve put together the top twelve questions renters should ask property managers BEFORE signing a lease.

Can I bring my pet(s)?

Yes! You may have up to two animals in your home. Dogs must be less than 100lbs, and non aggressive breeds only. 
We have a $300.00 refundable deposit, and charge $35.00/month - a flat fee for both 1 or 2 animals. We require current vaccination records, as well as a photo of your pet(s) prior to moving in. We also welcome service animals and emotional support animals! 

What is the neighborhood like?

We are located in Lakewood, Co. A short 12 minute drive away from the Sloan Lake. RTD is 12 minute walk away. 1600 Hoyt also brings you near the Colorado School of Trades, and The Colorado School of Mines. With such close access to both schools, you will have endless chances to explore your personal development. 

What do I need to qualify?

Your household must make 2.0x the base rent. We go off your gross monthly income! We can use your two most recent paystubs, six months of bank statements, a recent W2. We also screen credit, and criminal background - there are no specific credit requirements. 

How do I know which apartment to apply for?

 Our site does not show specific available homes for privacy reasons. Give us a call at (720) 287-0346 to set up a time to tour, or email us at 1600hoyt@amcllc.net for a property map with available options! 

What are my parking options?

We have on-site parking $35 per month. (per vehicle)
Assigned tandem parking $70 per month. 

Is renters insurance required?

Yes, We require minimum of $100,000 personal liability coverage. 

What is the security deposit?

Security deposit can be as low as $400 up to 1 month's rent. Rental application will determine security deposit. 

What does the application consist of?

Rental application per applicant 18 years or older is required. A standard application process includes credit, eviction, income, criminal background.
